Kind of leave

What you call it

Optional, like "Crew vacation". Needed when the kind is “Something else”.

Who gets it

Tick each group the plan covers. A group can have its own plan of the same kind: the crews' vacation apart from the office's.

It covers being sick too

One bank for rest and for being sick. It counts as sick leave where a state requires it, if it gives as much.

An hour of it pays

Unpaid leave still keeps the job: jury duty and military service, wherever you are.

One plan per group that differsWhen the crews get less vacation than the office, that is two vacation plans, each ticking its own groups. Someone on a 1099 is not an employee: no plan covers them.
Unpaid still countsJury duty and military service keep the job wherever you are, paid or not. Say they are unpaid rather than leaving them out.
