Workers’ compensation and return to work
Workers’ Compensation Benefits
Front Range Roofing LLC provides a comprehensive workers’ compensation insurance program which covers injury or illness sustained during employment which requires medical, surgical or hospital treatment. Neither the insurance carrier nor Front Range Roofing LLC will be liable for the payment of workers’ compensation benefits for injuries which occur during employees’ voluntary participation in any off-duty recreational, social or athletic activity sponsored by our company.
Filing a Claim
If you sustain a work-related injury or illness, you must inform your supervisor immediately. No matter how minor an on-the-job injury may appear it is important it be reported immediately. This ensures you will receive immediate medical care and enables you to qualify for coverage as quickly as possible. All employees injured while on the job shall be required to submit to a post-accident drug test. If you are using illegal drugs at the time of an accident, the workers’ compensation carrier may reduce your benefits.
Return to Work Program
If you cannot perform all aspects of your job while you are recuperating, we will provide Modified Duty, where applicable. Our Return to Work program allows you to quickly return to work and receive full pay. If you have a workers’ compensation claim and are given temporary restrictions by your doctor, please make certain your doctor is aware of our Return to Work program and request your doctor recommend Modified Duty, when appropriate.
Working for another employer while you are out of work due to a workers’ compensation injury is considered misconduct and will be cause for immediate termination.
